NORTH TO SOUTH, WITH NOMAD

Blue lanes. Golden doors. Open horizons.

Begin in the north, with time in Chefchaouen and two nights in Fes. Cross the Middle Atlas towards Merzouga, walk in Todgha’s palm oasis and spend a night in Dades. Discover Amridil Kasbah in Skoura, Atlas Studios in Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou before arriving in Marrakech.

An active touring itinerary with some long road days. We plan the visits and breaks around your arrival and departure times.

Tangier & the blue city

Night 1 · Chefchaouen

Your driver welcomes you in Tangier in the morning. Enjoy an introduction to the city adapted to your arrival time, then travel into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy the blue city in the evening.

For a full Tangier visit including Cap Spartel, Hercules Cave and the medina, we recommend arriving the evening before; the additional night is quoted separately.

A morning in Chefchaouen, then Fes

Night 2 · Fes

Explore Chefchaouen’s blue lanes and Uta el-Hammam square in the morning. There is time for photographs and a relaxed pause before continuing to Fes. Settle into your riad or hotel for two nights, with the evening free to rest.

Fes: golden gates & living traditions

Night 3 · Fes

Discover Fes with a local guide. Begin with photographs outside the Royal Palace’s golden gates, the Mellah quarter and a panoramic stop at the borj. Visit a ceramics workshop to discover pottery and zellige craftsmanship, then explore the old medina and the traditional tanneries. The day includes time for lunch and breaks.

Across the Middle Atlas to the Sahara

Night 4 · Merzouga desert camp

Leave Fes early and travel via Ifrane, the Middle Atlas and the Ziz Valley towards Merzouga, with planned stops along the way. On arrival, continue to your desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay. Camel riding can be arranged around your arrival time and the confirmed camp arrangements.

A long travelling day. A camel ride at sunset cannot be guaranteed.

Todgha’s oasis & a night in Dades

Night 5 · Dades

Enjoy the morning light near the dunes before travelling towards Tinghir. Walk through the palm oasis with a local guide, meet Amazigh craftswomen and discover traditional rug weaving, its patterns and skills passed down through generations. Visit the Todgha Gorge, then continue to Dades for the night.

Amridil, Atlas Studios & Ait Ben Haddou

Night 6 · Marrakech

An early departure from Dades takes you to Skoura to visit Amridil Kasbah, then to Ouarzazate for a visit to Atlas Studios. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou before crossing the High Atlas via Tizi n’Tichka. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening. A short exterior photo stop at Taourirt Kasbah is possible if time allows.

A full day of driving and visits. The order and time at each stop are coordinated with opening times, road conditions and studio access; we discuss any necessary adjustment with you.

Marrakech & your onward journey

Day 7 · Departure

Explore Marrakech with a local guide: Bahia Palace, the old medina, the souks and Jemaa el-Fna. Your airport transfer is timed around your flight. An evening departure is recommended to allow time for the visit; an earlier flight requires a shorter visit or an additional night, quoted separately.

A vehicle suited to your party and luggage, with English-, French- or Spanish-speaking driver options. Vehicle category and driver language are confirmed in your proposal. City walking tours are led by local guides.

A transparent quotation

Accommodation, breakfasts, camp dinner, guides, entrance tickets and activities are included only as listed in your accepted quotation. Flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are excluded. No fixed hotel or vehicle is promised before confirmation.

When should we arrive and depart?

Plan a morning start in Tangier on day 1 and an evening flight from Marrakech on day 7. For a complete Tangier visit, arrive the evening before. Share flight details before booking so we can confirm the right arrangement.

Is this a relaxed holiday?

This is an active north-to-south circuit. Days 4 and 6 involve long journeys. Breaks are planned, but the route suits guests comfortable with road travel and walking. Tell us about any mobility needs so we can discuss suitable adjustments.

Can we choose our accommodation?

Yes. We discuss your preferred comfort level and provide property names, room categories, camp facilities and meal plans in your proposal, subject to availability.
